Hello there,
Welcome back to K&T blog, How was your week?
Another week of health and fitness done and dusted, we hope you did the best that you could to get closer to your weight loss goal. We also hope that you made time to rest and recover where necessary, that you listened to the body when it gave you clues to go further or pull back. Listening to the body is a noble thing do if you want to achieve your weight loss goals because the mind cannot do anything on its own. We recently had a few bouts of fatigue and had to connect and listen to our bodies when they were asking for rest. We had to forego some of our planned morning training sessions even though the mental drive and ambition was there. This yielded remarkable benefits in terms of resilience, calmness, focus, mindfulness, mood improvement and renewed energy levels to return to the gym. Being connected and being one with the body is progressive for weight loss goals and being distant from your body can be destructive to your desired goal.

Our post last week marked 100 published posts since we launched the Kat & Tshepi blog, it was humbling and at the same time exciting to see. Throughout publishing the 100 posts, we moved from doubt to belief, from private to public, from timidity to courageous, from hoarding to sharing, from ineptness to insight (hopefully), from goal to purpose. We sometimes forget how nerving it was to publish our posts in the early days of the blog, we actually published privately for six months before going public. Overall, we are mostly proud that the 100 posts is a testament of the dedication we have for the blog and the intended readers. This means that for 100 weeks we committed ourselves to sitting down to write the posts and sitting down to review them , this is a new habit that was non existent for us but we had to create and develop. It has been a good habit to create and share, together as partners 🙂 .

This habit of sitting down to write and review the blog is a good reminder that when you commit to a goal, such as a weight loss goal, you need to create habits that are relevant and that will enable you to achieve that goal and repeat them daily or weekly or as often as necessary. You need to create a series of habits that will help you to win, the habit of training, the habit of eating healthier, the habit of cooking, the habit of learning about the body, the habit of learning about food and the mindset of being consistent, because it is only through consistency of these habits that will you achieve the weight you desire.
That’s it for this week, as we celebrate this small win we would like to THANK YOU for sharing your time with us every week ,we value your time and hope that the blog adds value to your fitness journey, to your weight loss goals and to your overall health, because for these reasons the blog was conceived and each post is always intended to do so 🙂 .

Until next week, Stay Blessed.
