Welcome back to K&T blog, how are you?
We hope that the 5th month of your 2025 weight loss journey is going as close to your plans as possible. A weight loss journey, like all other journey’s is not all perfect but it is characterized by many twits and turns, unplanned detours and unexpected obstacles, but the important thing is to always move forward. So if you are experiencing a difficult time right now, please know that it is temporary, keep working on your plans and set your eyes on your desired goal. We have found it helpful to imagine and yearn for the benefits that are waiting for us on the other side of weight loss, this gives us a nudge to move forward when times are tough.

It is honestly tough to lose weight and to keep it off, the easiest thing about weight loss is knowing what to do, the hard thing is making behavioral changes and applying what you know, the hardest thing is to make those changes a lifestyle and to maintain the new weight. However, the benefits that are awaiting you outweigh the hardships substantially and are worth the pursuit. On our 5-year journey we experienced some of the benefits that were awaiting us on the other side, including:
1.Sobriety – On the other side of weight loss there is elimination of alcohol, it can be hard to imagine it if you are drinking alcohol at the moment, but it starts to make sense and becomes a possibility as your journey proceed.
2.Energy galore – On the other side of weight loss there is energy for days, constant fatigue becomes the thing of the past, you find yourself ready TO GO at any moment.
3.Improved cognition – On the other side of weight loss there is a brain that comes back online. Focus, concentration and creativity are resuscitated and regained, it feels like the brain becomes free to do its job.
4.Improved self esteem – On the other side of weight loss there is a better view of your self, believe it or not , when you gain weight your self confidence, self image and self value gets rattled to a certain degree, but after losing some weight and when you look good in your own eyes, you feel good too.
5.Improved overall health – On the other side of weight loss there is great improvement and confidence on your health, you start by reducing your weight but then you see many other health markers improve greatly as well . You get to experience better blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar control, better sleep, skin health and digestion. Hey, and your fears of health issues are also greatly reduced 🙂 .
That’s it for this week, can you imagine some of the benefits on the other side of losing weight that are waiting for you? can you allow yourself to long for them?. There are certainly better days on the other side of weight loss and it is only you who can bring these days closer, each day is an opportunity to do so by sticking to your weight loss journey. Health is the “better days“, Health is indeed wealth, and it start with weight management.
