The Garden : May 2025 update

Hi there,

Welcome back to K&T blog, how was your week?

How did you do on your weight loss goals for the week? Weight loss and body transformation honestly takes time and serious efforts, at least for us it was. It took us at least two years to see significant changes to our bodies, changes that can be considered a body transformation. We had to learn to be patient and to focus on the process and before we knew it , we were getting compliments on the progress and on how different we looked. The validation of our efforts came from outside, and it came when we were no longer paying attention to or seeking it. So for a weight loss approach, we recommend that you be patient and stay focused on the process , then results will certainly follow in due course 🙂 .

The month of May has also been a quite month for the garden, winter drastically reduces our time and effort for gardening. This month, we were still able to harvest tomatoes, peppers and spinach in limited quantities for our daily consumption, but we know we need to start planting some crops so that we can have a new harvest when winter ends. Winter is challenging, but it is also a good reminder that the body defaults to safety, warmth and comfort in challenging times, it is therefore our duty to challenge it and refuse for it to be sedentary, in doing so we will be refusing the demise of our health.

That’s it for the May garden update, these garden updates reminds us that our food environment has changed drastically and our health is getting impacted negatively, gardening is our only solace and a good opportunity to take back control of what goes into our bodies, it is always worth the time and effort 🙂

Until next week, stay blessed.
