The Garden: July 2025 update

Hi there,

Welcome back to K&T blog, how are you?

We are bidding farewell to July and getting deeper into the second part of the year, the home stretch. How are you doing on your weight loss, fitness and health goal? Are you going to make it by December? On our side we are still fighting hard to reach our set goals, it is not the easisest year for helth and fitness, so much is changing in our environment which requires agility, adaptability and most importantly resillience, but we are up and giving our best shots. We hope you are also giving your best , remeber this is the year that you make it 🙂 .

The July Garden update, this month it has been mostly the incubation period, there was less harvesting but more sowing and taking care of the garden. We harvested sweet potatoes, these are the crops that you plant once and they keep reapprering every year when you least expected them.

We had challenges with birds and had to put some netting to prevent the obliteration of the crops. Birds are good for the garden because they eliminate the worms that can cause damages to crops and they are so pleasing to see but too much of them can be problematic. So far we planted, maize, green and red cabbage, cauliflower, brocolli, tomatoes, onions, beetroot, spinach, lettuce and some herbs.

Thats it for this months’ garden update, we are consistently taking care of the garden with the hope of having a good harvest, a harvest that will bring us joy and a happy body. At the same time we are also consistently working on taking care of our health and fitness with the hope of acheiving good health, a state where our mind, body and soul are happy 🙂 .

Until next week, stay blessed.
