Hi there, welcome back to K&T’s blog. It is Christmas eve today, we hope your Christmas plans are coming together nicely if you are celebrating this holiday. Christmas is generally characterized by coming together of families and friends, and this involves sharing love and laughter over full plates of delicious foods and drinks. If you are on a weight loss journey, we hope you are able to deal with the dilemmas of this period, and we also hope that you will take it easy on yourself and enjoy the objective of your gathering or celebration because burdening yourself with restrictions can breed resistance. We wish you the best.

In this week’s blog post, we would like to acclimatize you to the structure and content of this blog website. We started this blog in January this year and have been posting 1 blog each week ever since, but the blog only became live 10 months later on the 1st of November, so there is quite substantial content on the site . We must say, it took a lot of courage for us to start this blog and share our own thoughts, actions and experiences publicly but we are happy that we finally decided to depart from our own comfort zone and publish the blog, as we believe the content will be helpful to someone trying to lose weight.

Below are some of the key pages that are worth a visit:

1. Our Story – On this page we tell the story of our health transformation, how we went from some pretty dark places to finally seeing the light through fitness.

2. Our weight loss guide – This is our helping hand in the process of losing weight, we detail what we believe to be a good, consistent and successful approach to weight loss. Most times , success is achieved through simplicity, this is what we think of our guide.

3. Our 6-months weight loss journey log – This page is what started this blog, for a period of 6 months we capture our weight loss progress each week as we attempted to lose 1kg every month. So much raw emotions and valuable nuggets were captured on this journey. Tshepi managed to reach her goal , whilst Kat came a bit short of the target.

4. About us – On this page we give information about ourselves, this is us saying please know who we are as people so that most of the content can be put into its proper context and understanding.

In addition to these key pages, there are 36 blog posts so far on this website, each with potential knowledge and insight on losing weight and getting fit. We think the content on this blogsite can contribute positively to someone who is considering getting their health on track, as well as someone who is already in the process of losing weight but are experiencing challenges, and finally the blog fully suffice for leisure reading and just for interest sake.

The site also enables you to subscribe to posts that are being published , through subscribing you will be notified every time a post is published.
