The Garden: Mar 2025

Hi There,

Welcome back to the blog, how have you been?

The first quarter of the year is done and dusted, wow, we cannot believe it. We feel that we are still at infancy with our 2025 weight loss goals, we are still trying to figure the best way to make them happen, we thought that at 3 months our way and process would be a well-oiled machine but it is not the case, however, there is light at the end of the tunnel as we are making small but significant progress. How are you doing on your weight loss and health goals? We hope you are faring better, there is still 3 more quarters to make the most of your goals, keep going please 😊.

“Continuous effort—not strength or intelligence—is the key to unlocking our potential.” – Liane Cardes

Our 1st quarter of gardening activities have been successful at least, the garden continued to yield some good crops, we were able to feed ourselves, sell some to our community members and colleagues, as well as donate some harvest to church. At times, the yield became so much that we could not keep up with harvesting , we had to extend ourselves a little bit to manage the workload, It was amazing how much spinach, tomatoes and green peppers can be harvested from such a small garden. One can imagine that if each family in a community gives a little bit of time to gardening, then sharing the extra yield, maybe a dent on hunger might be possible, who knows.

Some of the vegetables we harvested in the 1st quarter of 2025 are Spinach, Tomatoes, Green and Red Peppers, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Beetroot, Pumpkin, Cucumber, Jalapenos and Celery. Here are highlights of the first quarter of 2025 Gardening.

That’s it for this week, we wish you all the best on your weight loss and health goals for the remaining 3 quarters of the year, YOU GOT THIS.

Until next week, Stay blessed.
